The Westbury Hotel in Bodmin Surprise Birthday 03/09/2010

This was our first time for R.J.Rhythm to be working at The Westbury Hotel in Bodmin and to be honest I have past this place a hundred times or more and I did not realize it had rather a nice function room at the rear of the building. The evening tonight was a surprise Birthday Party and as I was working at Mango's I sent Little John and Rob to do this function for me.

As it was a surprise party the organizer wanted everything to be in place early so myself and Rob went to set this show up in the afternoon and made sure everything was ready for the evening. Well evening came and Little John along with Rob went off to do this function for me and they have told be what a great night they had especially the surprise as she walked into the room as John had everyone quiet and all the lights off. The surprise went really well and the birthday girl was over the moon when she walked into the room. As it was a younger crowd on this evening they boys were asked to play mostly R & B and chat stuff and as you can see from the pictures they had most people up dancing throughout the evening. I obviously can't write much about this event as I was not there but you can see how even my staff get the party going without me by looking at the pictures and I must say Little John is doing really well since he started with us about 4 years ago.

They finished around 11.45pm and had a great evening the whole night whilst I myself was still hard at work D.J.ing at Mango Tango's till 2am.

My night was a really good night as I have said time and time again this venue has to be the entertainment capital of Falmouth. Open 7 nights a week till 2am with entertainment 5 nights a week. I had another brilliant night from 10.00pm till 2.00am and can't wait to be back on Wednesday for the R.J.Rhythm Karaoke Party.

Well Tomorrow night I am at a Wedding Reception at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club with Rob whilst Little John and Darren are at a 40th Birthday Party in Polzeath.
