Terri's 18th Birthday Party at The Old Ale House, Truro 13/06/2009

Working back in Truro was a little bit different as I have not worked in Truro for some time now and I never knew that The Old Ale House had a function room so it was a first for us to be working there.

With me on this booking was Freddie and Scott, and I was so pleased I had both of them with me as this venue was up a very steep flight of stairs and I have to say because of this it took us an hour and half to set up this show for Terri's 18th Birthday Party. We arrived at about 5.30 which was good as we were faced with these dreaded stairs lol and I found The Old Ale House straight away as I have been there drinking some years ago. Freddie and Scott unloaded the van and set up for me as Freddie is training up Scott to be able to do this if he needs to on his own as Scott has now been with us for about 8 months and he wants to learn the ropes.

We started the party off about 8pm and as you can guess the room was full of 18 to 20 year olds apart from about 10 adults. I would say we had a crowd of 50 on this booking and the music we played was all mostly requests for R & B and Drum & Bass with a few thrown in every now and then for the adults. As you can see from the pictures everyone had a great time and everyone was dancing on and off throughout the night. We did take a bit of video of this evening but only earlier on as we were quite busy throughout the night so you can take a look at this event on our Video page.

Well we eventually finished at 11.30 pm and again it took us over an hour to pack away and get everything down the stairs and into the van. We eventually got home at 1.30am and were completely shattered again after yet another successful evening with myself and the R.J.Rhythm Entertainments crew.
