Whitsun Bank Holiday Sunday Night at
The Tamar, Crownhill, Plymouth 30/05/
2010

Another Bank Holiday Weekend for us at The Tamar in Crown Hill near Plymouth and tonight's event was a bit special as we were also celebrating the Managers Birthday along with another birthday as their was also a group of people about 40 also celebrating an 18th on this evening so tonight's event was going to be a hectic one. We also arranged to stay over at The Tamar on this evening so we could also join in with the celebrations with the manager and what a night it was.

I set off from our offices at 1pm as Darren was coming with me on this occasion and as Darren lives in St. Austell I went round to his to watch the England match before we set off to Plymouth for the evening. We arrived at The Tamar about 6.30pm just after we hit the KFC yet again as we got no KFC near us in Cornwall we always find time to make sure we get a KFC when we work in Plymouth. When we got to the Tamar it was packed so I knew from then what a brilliant night we were going to have. Darren unloaded the equipment for me and we set up together also I would like to say even though Darren is new to this it only took us about 45 minutes to set up as we decided to put one of our largest Disco shows in for this evening.

We were set up for about 7.30pm and started the show off at 8.00. The pub was buzzing from the time we arrived at The Tamar and as you can see from the pictures they all had a great time throughout the evening. Right from the beginning of the evening we were hit with lots of requests from the 1960's to the present date and of course we had every request we were asked for. The crowd were dancing all night long and the atmosphere was electrifying all of this evening. Everyone including myself, the punters and my staff had a great evening and this one will no doubt be talked about for quite some time. We have some video footage of this event so please take a look at our Video page of the crowd that made this event a night to remember.

We finished around 11pm as it was a Sunday Evening, Darren help me to pack away which took us about 45 minuets and when we had packed all the equipment away the staff at the Tamar helped Darren to load up the van. After we had packed the van we then all had a little party of our own which made the end of another brilliant night at The Tamar.

Next week it's another private Wedding Reception at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Cub along with a bit of Karaoke, which I must admit is a great laugh at a Wedding Reception and I am really looking forward to this event as you know I look forward to all events every week.
