The Tamar New Years Eve 2008

Well again New Years Eve at the Tamar in Crown Hill Plymouth was yet another night to remember. We had the Cornwall R.J.Rhythm Crew and the Plymouth R.J.Rhythm Crew all in one place for a 2nd time and again a massive show and party. The cornwall crew were myself, Annette, Freddie and Scott and the Plymouth Crew were Phil & Debbie Leeper and one of our drivers Andy

We arrived at 5pm as the pub was closing between 5 and 7pm for everything to be got ready for the big night. The set up took us about an hour as there were 4 of us setting up like Christmas Eve so that was not too bad and I must admit everyone worked so well together and the show and sound was magnificent. I Must say a big thanks to Phill as he is so tall for helping the Tamar staff put up the balloon net over the dancing area.

Well the show started at 7pm and Phill warmed the crowd up for me nicely, I took over at 9.30 then the party really started and the pub it's self was packed all night long and everyone was dancing from 8 till 2am when we finished. The atmosphere was great and no trouble what so ever on a night that was so packed. The evening was as you can see the pictures a fancy dress night and obviously I was also able to get involved as I was staying over which meant I could also let my hair down a bit like I do every year on New Years Eve.

The evening was a great success and we eventually finished at 2am and the breakdown took us an hour and a half this time as we were all so tired after this long event I eventually got into bed at 5am.

Looking forward to our 7th year now at tamar we are there on Bank Holidays so keep looking back on our web site, also look at our video page as there is also footage on this wonderful night at the Tamar.
