The Tamar, Crown Hill, Plymouth. Christmas Eve 2009

This is our 7th Christmas Eve for R.J.Rhythm Entertainments at the Tamar in Crown Hill Plymouth and I knew it was going to be another night to remember. We had the Cornwall R.J.Rhythm Crew and the Plymouth R.J.Rhythm Crew all in one place for a massive show and party. The cornwall crew were myself, Annette, Andy from Bodmin and the Plymouth Crew was our other Andy who was one of our drivers, but Debbie who was going to join us became ill during the week and was unable to make it :-)

We set off from our offices at about 4.30 pm and we were all looking forward to this night as we know from experience what The Tamar is like on such a special evening. We arrived at The Tamar at about 6.30pm as we had to stop off and deliver Christmas Presents on the way. Well it was packed even more than the year before and again it was up to us to move the tables and chairs after trying to get people off them of course and set up the area for our show. It took us about an hour and a half to do this and get totally set up for the evening and again the lads worked so hard in setting up and making sure everything was ready for me to start at 8.30.and once again as you can see from the pictures they all had a great time throughout the evening. You can also see some video of this evening by clicking on our Video page.

We finished around ten past one and all evening we had the dance floor packed and talking to the manager this was the best Christmas even ever on record which I can honestly say that I thought the same thing. We packed away within a hour which was not bad going as we were all really feeling the strain of our Christmas runs and were all looking forward to Christmas Day for a rest. Well only 2 more shows to go we have a wedding on the 29th and then back to The Tamar for our 7th New Years Eve which I think is going to be the best yet looking at the success of Christmas Eve.
