August Bank Holiday Saturday Night at
The Tamar, Crown hill, Plymouth 28/08/2010

Another Bank Holiday Weekend for us at The Tamar in Crown Hill near Plymouth and tonight's event was a August Bank Holiday Special Disco and I was really looking forward to this one as I look forward to all my venues as you know, but this venue is still a bit special to me as I have been there now for over 5 years so I know most people who will be there as I have built up rather a good reputation over the years as you may have gathered.

I set off from my office at 6.00pm as Darren was coming with me on this occasion and as Darren lives in St. Austell I needed to pick him up first. We got to the Tamar round about 7.15pm and again it was packed so I knew from then what a brilliant night we were going to have. Darren unloaded the equipment for me and we set up together it only took us about 45 minutes to set up as we decided to put one of our largest Disco shows in for this evening.

We were set up for about 7.45pm and started the show off at 8.00. The pub was buzzing from the time we arrived at The Tamar and as you can see from the pictures they all had a great time throughout the evening. Right from the beginning of the evening we were hit with lots of requests from the 1960's to the present date and of course we had every request we were asked for. The night actually turned out to be rather a cheesy night as the requests were for them great cheesy tunes we all love to forget but they still manage to get the crowd going and we had a great party atmosphere all night long as well as we were celebrating 2 different Birthdays on this evening also so you can guess what sort of night we had and this made the event another night to remember at The Tamar in Crown Hill.

We finished around at Midnight as it was a Saturday Evening, Darren help me to pack away which took us about 30 minuets and when we had packed all the equipment away the staff at the Tamar helped Darren to load up the van. After we had packed the van we then made our way back home and I eventually got into my office around 2.00am.

Well tomorrow night I am back D.J.ing at Mango Tango's for a Back To School Party Night along with a fancy dress. This is going to be one hell of a night as the feedback from Friday night when I was there from the crowd was really good and most of them will be coming along. I also have Big John driving for me as I am taking my girl Kim with me also Darren and his girl will be attending so it a bit of an R.J.Rhythm staff party as well.
