Sarah and Robin's Wedding Reception St. Keyne 30/05/2009

This event was yes another first for R.J.Rhythm as we have never worked in St. Keyne at all and again we were looking forward to doing this one like all our gigs we look forward to them all.

We arrived at 6pm and found the Village Hall straight away and as well as a Village Hall it has a small Social Club on the side of it and as far as I could gather this was run by the villagers. The reception was running a bit late as they were on their main course when we got there so obviously we sat outside and waited until everyone had finished. There was Freddie and Scott with me on this one which was a great help as we were starting at 7.30 and we started setting up at 7pm. As things were running late, but we at R.J.Rhythm were determined to try and catch the hour back they lost and yes you guessed it we did just about. we still managed to set up one of our medium to biggest shows which looked great in this Village Hall. We started the show off at 7.30 pm as requested and played some background music for a while and then entertained the children that were there. At about 9 O'Clock we did the first dance for the bride and groom and then the party really got started. The party was quite a large crowd about 70 in all and it did not take very long for everyone to get going. As you may have noticed looking at the pictures and video on our Video Page the grooms side were Scottish so you can imagine what sort of fun night we had and the crowd as you can see from the pictures had a great time and everyone had a great evening, we were even asked why we did not come to St. Keyne more often lol.

We had to finish at midnight and we got packed up and ready to go within the hour between the thanks and all the comments then made our way home, we eventually arrived home about 2.30am.
