Leaving Party St.Blazey Football Club: 06/02/2009

This was a special celebration for a guy called Chris from St. Blazey as he was 18 also it was his leaving party as he was going off to join the Marines. R.J.Rhythm would just like to wish him every success for the future and we hope to see him home safe soon.

We arrived at the Football Club about 6pm as we knew this layout as we have worked there before and I must admit as you can see from the photos it is quite a large room, so we put in quite a large show for everyone. We had Freddie, Scott and Andy with us on this night as we wanted to put on a special show for Chris's send off.

From about 7.30 pm we put on some background music as the guests arrived, but just before this we took some video footage of this show as it looked so nice. Please take a look at our Video Page to view this footage and the footage we took during the night. At about 8.30 it was time for me to start the show and I have to tell you it was a fantastic night. We had about 130 people there mostly 18-20 and the atmosphere was fantastic all night long. They we dancing everywhere even on the front of the stage ( which I rarely do not allow ) but they were such a good and well behaved crowd for the ages that were there I allowed this to happen. At about 11pm Chris took the stage and thanked everyone for attending the evening and made a short speech about his journey onwards and this was very emotional as I could see most of the crowd had a little tear or two.

Midnight came and it was time to finish then pack away. Whilst we were packing away we had so many comments and thanks it was a great feeling for us all, and I must admit this is going to be a night I will remember for a long time.
