40th Birthday Party (80's Theme) St. Austell Cricket Club 21/11/2009

This one was the second visit for R.J.Rhythm as we have only worked at The St. Austell Cricket Club once before and as I said in one of my previous Journals I did no even know the place existed until this year. I would like to say the Cricket Club is an excellent venue for a party up to 80 people and it is a brilliant place to hold a party. I was looking forward to this one as the theme was a fancy dress 80's evening celebrating a 40th Birthday, but I was booked else where at the Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club so I had to send John and Plymouth Andy to do this party for me. You can read all about my night at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club by clicking here if you wish.

Well I set off from our offices at 5.30pm and met up with John and Andy at the Cricket Club as I was just making sure they had no problems setting up before I went to party later in the evening. I arrived at the venue about 6pm and unloading was a dream as there were 2 of my guys unloading and setting up and it only took John and Andy about 45 minutes to set as we decided to put one of our Medium to largest Disco shows in for this evening.

We were set up for about 7pm and started straight away. The Cricket Club was beginning to fill up from about 6.30pm and everyone I saw arriving before I had to leave were all in fancy dress and I must admit the costumes were out of this world and I knew from this that John and Andy were going to have one hell of an evening and as you can see from the pictures they all had a great time throughout the evening. Everyone one including my staff and the guests had a great evening and this one will no doubt be talked about for quite some time.We do have some video footage of this event so please take a look at our Video page of the dancers and the costumes that made this event a night to remember as everyone who were in fancy dress looked fantastic also you can see how everyone was having a great time. There were not many photos taken as you can see above as they were not using my camera hence the quality of the pictures are not what we nominally publish, but what I have managed to choose tells you what a great time everyone had.

John and Andy finished around 11.30pm and the boys packed away within 45 minuets then they made their way to The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club as they had the van and needed to pick up the show that I was using. They got to me around 13.30am and paced away for me. We were all quite tired as from beginning to end it was all go on this night running 2 shows and as per usual everyone had a great night. I will be back at the Hotel all throughout December again with 2 shows on some evenings, but at least they are in one venue this time and to be honest myself and my staff are really looking forward to out Christmas Party Run 2009.
