The Mutley Crown, Mutley, Plymouth 11/07/2009

This event was the 2nd one for me this year at The Mutley Crown in Plymouth, my first was not so long ago where I covered on a Wednesday Night for a Karaoke Evening and this was was just DJ services as I was covering for my friend Dizzy Daz from plymouth. Because it was a DJ only night I decided to make a whole night of it and stayed in Plymouth for the night and I had a fantastic evening from beginning to end.

With me on this booking was Scott and Annette as Freddie and John who used to be part of our Crew (welcome back John) was working for me in Pensilver doing a Wedding Reception. We arrived at the venue about 8pm, and as all I needed was a Laptop with me as the venue has all its own lighting and sound equipment it took about 10 minuets to set up. I set up and then went for a look and a drink around Mutley before I had to start work at 9.30pm. We met up with Debbie who is one of my Plymouth crew, she comes with us now and then as she lives in Plymouth and helps out. With Debbie there was also Michelle who I had never met before so now there were 5 of us on a night out. It was a terrible night for weather on this night and when I got back to The Mutley Crown I was soaked and so was everyone else who was with me.

Well as I said we started off about 9.30pm and from record 1 we had people dancing and within 10 minuets we had lots of record requests and these kept coming in through out the evening. People were having a great time all night long, but to my surprise the bad weather did not really keep people away. At about 11pm Annette, Debbie and Michelle left me and Scott and went into town and we were to meet up with the later as we were booked till 1am. Well we eventually finished at 2am as I did an extra hour as the crowd were having a good time and enjoying themselves. It took us about 10 minuets to pack away and then I left my Laptop at the pub for the rest of the evening and went into town to meet up with the girls. We had a great night at work now it was time to have a great night out which obviously we did. We eventually got to bed about 6am and were completely shattered again after yet another successful evening with myself and the R.J.Rhythm Entertainments crew working and also socializing.
