Mango Tango's in Falmouth Overseas Students Party 21/07/2010
This event is a weekly event for us now on a Wednesday Night and I must admit this is defiantly one of the best Entertainment and Fun pubs in Falmouth which is called Mango Tango, and we are now proud to be a part of this venue. The event is a Wednesday Night Karaoke which is run every week between 10pm and 2am but on this occasion it was a little bit different as I was working both upstairs in the nightclub for some overseas students between 6.30pm and 9.30pm, then downstairs for our weekly Karaoke Party from 10pm till 2am. We set off from our offices at 4.00pm and with me was Little John who I had got in as a driver for the evening and on the way through St. Austell we picked up Darren. We got to the venue for 5.30pm this week as I said I was working in the upstairs night club for the overseas students which started at 6.30pm.
Well I got down stairs and the lads had set up for me so 10pm came and I started the show off right away playing some of the latest chart pop music. The pub was beginning to fill up rather quickly and again I knew it was going to be another busy special night as we had quite a large crowd celebrating a Birthday and from 10pm when we started we were hit straight away with Karaoke Requests from the party of people and by 11pm it was buzzing as more and more people were coming into the brilliant venue. The venue tonight was packed and all of the evening was taken up with Karaoke requests all night long and we did not really have much time to play much music in between. I actually had to call my Karaoke books in an hour before we were due to finish as we had enough Karaoke requests to last for the rest of this evening. We actually counted the requests and got to just under 70 requests so you can guess what sort of brilliant night we had and again as you can see from the pictures they all had a great time throughout the evening and the atmosphere was electrifying all of this evening again just like previous weeks. Well we finished at 2pm then Darren and Little John helped me to pack away which only took us 30 minuets to pack away and load up the van. After we had packed the van we then said our goodbye's to everyone and made our way home. We eventually got home about 3.30am and next week I am starting my Summer Holiday Run down in Polzeth for the next 6 weeks so I wont be at Mango's unless I decide to alternate between us all as Little John and Darren are going to cover for me as we have 2 shows out for the next 6 weeks. Looking forward to this weekend as I am working Friday and Saturday night with the crew so its another busy weekend for The R.J.Rhythm team this week.
