Mango Tango's in Falmouth Wednesday Night Karaoke 29/09/2010 Tour De Fal Week

Here we go again another Wednesday night at Mango Tangos for the R.J.Rhythm Karaoke Party Night and I keep saying this venue is defiantly one of the best Entertainment and Fun pubs in Falmouth which is Mango Tango, where we appear every Wednesday Night between 10.00pm and 2.00am.

Well this week I knew was going to be really hectic as it was Falmouth University College's Tour De Fal night which is basically new and old students going out for a night in Falmouth to see what is on offer around the pubs and clubs for the students. Basically they are in groups of about 100 and they go round all the venues in falmouth and as 1 group leaves another group returns. I was told their was 900 students out on this evening so I knew it was going to be a really hectic night.

It was decided that the upstairs would also be opened on this evening hence I had Darren downstairs doing the weekly Karaoke party whilst I was upstairs D.J.ing for the evening and because of this we also started early and instead of starting at 10pm we started at 9.00pm on this occasion.

Well again as I have said with me on this evening was Darren from St.Austell who is now one of my regular members of staff especially on a Wednesday night. I set off from my office at 6.30pm and picked Darren up along the way. We got to Mango Tango's at about 8.00pm and Darren unloaded the equipment for me and helped me to set up the show. It only took us about half an hour to do this as we no longer need to set up our sound system as we have now got an in house system set up. Once this show had been set up Darren started by playing some background music whilst I went upstairs into the club part of Mango's and set up my laptop ready for the evening upstairs to start. Well hectic was not the word let me tell you the venue was packed both up and downstairs all night long as we were promoting this venue to the students of Falmouth University. Darren had constant singers all night long without a break and I has a club full of people dancing and parting all night long upstairs. The pictures you see were taken early in the evening as it was that busy neither of us could get out or find the time to take any more. The atmosphere all night long was brilliant and everyone was in a total party mood.

Well we finished at 2pm both up and downstairs and we were both really shattered. Darren helped me to pack away downstairs which took us 40 minuets this week as it was so busy and load up the van. After we had packed the van we then said our goodbye's to everyone and made our way home. We eventually got home about 4.00am.

As I said before I won't be writing anything about Mango's every week as really as it it a regular venue you will only get the same sort of story week after week, but I will defiantly write a Journal at least once a month or on special occasions like this one was so keep an eye out on our Journal pages.

Well Friday night I am back D.J.ing at Mango's then Saturday I have a children's party in the afternoon followed by a wedding reception and we can only do this as both functions are in Newquay.
