Mango Tango's in Falmouth Wednesday Night Karaoke 30/06/2010

This is our 2nd week now at our new venue for the R.J.Rhythm Entertainments Group. This event is a weekly event for us now on a Wednesday Night and I must admit this is defiantly one of the best Entertainment and Fun pubs in Falmouth which is called Mango Tango, and we are now proud to be a part of this venue. The event is a Wednesday Night Karaoke which is run every week between 10pm and 2am and I have to say that working at this venue was just like years ago when we were working weekly at another venue in Plymouth and it was buzzing all night long.

We set off from our offices at 7.30pm and with me was Darren, Annette and Mickey from my village. We got to the venue for 8.30pm this week as we did not need to be as early as last week and we now know the set up and show we were using at this venue. When we got there some people were eating where we needed to set up so Mickey and Darren unloaded the equipment for me and we left it just inside the doors whilst we waited for people to finish eating. we all set up together as we put one of our medium Karaoke shows in for this evening.

Well we got set up for 10pm and started the show off right away playing some of the latest chart pop music. The pub was beginning to fill up rather quickly and by 11pm it was buzzing and tonight was quite a special night as it was a Graduation celebration for most of the students also their was a 22nd Birthday celebration at the same time. The venue tonight was packed and most of the evening was taken up with Karaoke requests all night long and we did not really have much time to play much music in between. We also had one guy doing some beat boxing over the microphones and he was absolutely magnificent. As you can see from the pictures they all had a great time throughout the evening and the atmosphere was electrifying all of this evening again just like last week. Well we finished at 2pm then Darren and Mickey helped me to pack away which only took us 30 minuets to pack away and load up the van. After we had packed the van we then said our goodbye's to everyone and made our way home. We eventually got home about 3.30am and next week I am at Marjon University College for 2 weeks on a wednesday so Little John and Darren will be covering for me at this great party venue.

I won't be writing anything about Mango's for the next 2 weeks as I am doing a couple of Summer Schools at Marjon University College in Plymouth and I am putting Little John and Darren in to Mango's to Cover for me over the next 2 weeks.

Well Saturday night I have a Silver Wedding Anniversary and Little John along with Darren are off to the Rising Sun in Truro for a Birthday Celebration with a Karaoke Party.
