Lanhydrock Hotel Corporate Christmas Parties 18/12/2009

This is now our last weekend at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club and as another week passes R.J.Rhythm are back again for another great weekend. We have quite a busy weekend this week as tonight's function is downstairs only, but tomorrows the last one of this season and we are working both up and downstairs.

As I have said before you may notice throughout these December Journals that there are no pictures or videos taken at any of these functions as we respect the privacy of the various companies and people letting their hair down, also it is quite hard to ask every company for permission who may be attending on the evenings. The pictures that will appear on these pages however are pictures of the shows that we have set up for the evenings so you can see for yourselves what sort of show we were using to entertain on the evenings I also will be combining upstairs and downstairs shows on one page per day of booking hence I am going to tell you about both shows on this page.

Myself and Andy set up this show on the Thursday night as this Friday I was quite busy for the day getting ready for Christmas etc. We got to the Hotel about 2pm on the Thursday and as usual Andy got all the equipment from the Staff room into the main bar area and helped me to set up the downstairs show ready for the weekend. It took us just over an hour to get the large show set up and checked that everything was working fine then we headed back to our offices knowing that we were all set to go on the Friday Evening.

Myself and Andy from Bodmin attended this evening and as before we were booked for all these events from 9pm till 1am, so we all arrived at the venue about 8.30 as I like to be early incase things were running quicker than expected. Well they were all running a bit late on this evening which was not a great problem as it gave us time to make sure our background music was still playing as they were eating. We started off the show at 9.30pm and tonight I was entertaining about 150 people downstairs and from record 1 I had everybody up dancing and I have to admit it seems the closer we get to Christmas the crazier the crowd get as were were being asked for all sorts of silly songs throughout the evening like The Conga, Oops Upside Your Head, Barbie Girl etc.The whole evening was a great success and everyone had a great night as people dancing all night long. so you can imagine the sort of Entertainment my company offers is a great time and party atmosphere

We finished at 1am and got a tremendous round of applause and a lot of thanks then Andy started to set up the show upstairs as we were back there again on the following night running 2 shows this time for the last night of the corporate parties. We eventually arrived back at our offices at 2.30am after yet another successful evening with R.J.Rhythm Entertainments. We are now looking forward to our last night at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club as Christmas is getting closer and the crowds are getting more exciting.
