Lanhydrock Hotel Corporate Christmas Parties 06/12/2009

Well now this is our 3rd consecutive night and R.J.Rhythm are back again for another great evening at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club. This night was a downstairs function only and tonight we were playing just for one big company who were Trelawney Garden Leisure.

As I have said before you may notice throughout these December Journals that there are no pictures or videos taken at any of these functions as we respect the privacy of the various companies and people letting their hair down, also it is quite hard to ask every company for permission who may be attending on the evenings. The pictures that will appear on these pages however are pictures of the shows that we have set up for the evenings so you can see for yourselves what sort of show we were using to entertain on the evenings I also will be combining upstairs and downstairs shows on one page per day of booking hence I am going to tell you about both shows on this page.

Myself and Andy from Bodmin attended this evening and as before we were booked for all these events from 9pm till 1am, so we all arrived at the venue about 8.30 as I like to be early incase things were running quicker than expected. Well they were all running a bit late on this evening which was not a great problem as it gave us time to make sure our background music was still playing as they were eating. Tonight we were entertaining about 100 people but before we started some of the staff were in a band so they had their own band on after the meal who started playing about 9.30pm. The band were great I have to say really enjoyable and they actually warmed the crowd up very well for me. They finished their set at 11pm then straight away we started out disco. The whole evening was another great success and everyone had a great night as I had various people dancing all night long.

We finished at 1am and being our 3rd now consecutive night we were defiantly showing signs of age lol. Andy and myself had to break down the show and move it upstairs and stored it away in the staff room. This took us abut an hour to do this and we will be back late on the following Thursday night to set up for the forthcoming weekend. We eventually arrived back at our offices at 3.00am after yet another successful evening with R.J.Rhythm Entertainments. We are now looking forward to our 3nd night at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club.
