Lanhydrock Hotel Corporate Christmas Parties 05/12/2009

Well after last night R.J.Rhythm are back again for another great evening at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club. As I said on the Journal before this one the evenings were a little different this year as changes have been made by the Hotel which meant that some nights we were playing up and downstairs. Well tonight was going to be one of these night and my staff were really looking forward to this as it meant they were also DJing for me as well as helping me with equipment etc.

As I have said before you may notice throughout these December Journals that there are no pictures or videos taken at any of these functions as we respect the privacy of the various companies and people letting their hair down, also it is quite hard to ask every company for permission who may be attending on the evenings. The pictures that will appear on these pages however are pictures of the shows that we have set up for the evenings so you can see for yourselves what sort of show we were using to entertain on the evenings I also will be combining upstairs and downstairs shows on one page per day of booking hence I am going to tell you about both shows on this page.

Myself and Andy from Bodmin and Andy from our Plymouth Crew attended this evening and as before we were booked for all these events from 9pm till 1am, so we all arrived at the venue about 8.30 as I like to be early incase things were running quicker than expected. Well they were all running a bit late on this evening which was not a great problem as it gave us time to make sure our background music in both venues was still playing as they were eating. We both got started with the 2 shows about the same time. Myself was entertaining about 150 people downstairs whilst Andy and Andy had about 70 to entertain upstairs and we started the Disco's up at 9.20pm. The whole evening was a great success and everyone had a great night as both of us had various people dancing all night long. Andy upstairs was having a great time and at one stage the upstairs crowd were all doing the conga which let to them doing in all round the Hotel and into my function. We had a great time with this as they were going around downstairs my crowd joined in and were led back upstairs, so you can now see that the Entertainment my company offers is a great time and party atmosphere and it gives us DJ's a great feeling. again all night long the crowd were having a great time and also requesting quite a few songs from rock n roll to modern pop and lots of party music which obviously we had and the atmosphere on this night was very seasonal and exciting.

We both finished at 1am and being our 2nd consecutive night we were showing signs of age lol. Andy and Andy broke down the show upstairs and stored it away in the staff room but my show had to stay as we were back there again on the Sunday night. We eventually arrived back at our offices at 2.30am after yet another successful evening with R.J.Rhythm Entertainments. We are now looking forward to our 3nd night at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club.
