Lanhydrock Hotel All Saints Golf Society Dinner and Dance 21/11/2009

Well another night at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club, and like before I was looking forward to this one like I look forward to all my functions. The evening was for The All Saints Golf Society Annual Dinner and Dance.

Myself and John set up this show in the Afternoon as we had 2 bookings on this night one at The Lanhydrock Hotel And Golf Club and the other was for a 40th Birthday party which was an 80's theme night at the St. Austell Cricket Club, which John and Andy was doing for me. You can read more about the 80's event along with pictures and video of the evening by clicking here. We got to Lanhydrock about 1pm and John carried the equipment for me and helped me set up. It took us about an hour to set up as we were sorting out leads etc to make up 2 lead boxes for 2 shows now December was getting closer as all through December as you can see from our December Gig Guide we are running 2 shows so we took the opportunity to get everything ready for the Christmas Run.

I was booked for this event 9pm till midnight, so I got back to the venue about 8.30 as I like to be early incase things were running quicker than expected. Well they were running on time which was great so hence I started the Disco up at 9pm. We had quite a small mature crowd on this evening to work with, so obviously I played the right selection of music to get the crowd going. The whole evening was a great success and everyone had a great night as I had various people dancing all night long which as a D.J. is a great feeling.

I finished at midnight and got a great cheer and applause from the crowd then started to pack away as I was waiting for John and Andy come and give me a hand as they had the van for their function for the evening. They got to me at 12.30 am and carried all the equipment to the van and loaded up for me. We eventually arrived back at our offices at 1.30 am after yet another successful evening with R.J.Rhythm Entertainments. We are now looking forward to our Christmas Run at The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club.
