Wedding Reception At The Garrison Club Bodmin 09/10/2009

This one was a Wedding Reception at the Garrison Club in Bodmin. R.J. Rhythm has worked at The Garrison Club in Bodmin many times before for private booking etc, and I was looking forward to this one as it has been quite some time since we were last at this Venue.

We set off from our offices at 5.30pm as we were starting at 7.30 pm. With me on this one was John and Andy who is one of our new recruits from the Bodmin area. We arrived at the venue about 6pm and unloading was a dream as John and Andy worked really well together and it only took John and Andy about 45 minutes to set as we decided to put one of our largest Karaoke shows in for this evening.

We were set up for about 7pm and started straight away even though we were not meant to start till 7.30pm.The venue was quite packed and from about 7pm till 8pm we decided to play requests only as the evening was booked as an 80's night and as their were quite a few young ones it gave us and them a chance to play some chart record for the younger generation before we started the 80's evening. At 8pm we started our Eighties theme for half an hour then called the bride and groom up for their first dance then carried on with the rest of the evening. R.J. Rhythm Entertainments made this event a night to remember everyone was having a great time.

We finished around 11.30pm and the boys packed away within 45 minuets. From beginning to end it was all go on this night and as per usual everyone had a great night. I am looking forward to my next gig at The Garrison Club in Bodmin which hopefully will be very soon
