The Garland Ox Karaoke Night in Bodmin 12/02/2010

Well after returning to work again with Alan and Nikki last year who used to have Nicals in Bodmin where we used to work about 2 years ago, we are now working for them again as they now have The Garland Ox in Bodmin. R.J.Rhythm are back in 2010 at this venue as we only started working there towards the end of last year and we will be seeing a lot of this venue now as we have been booked there about once a month. It was a Friday Night Karaoke Evening also it was our first night of this year at this venue for us, so I was not expecting it to be very busy as people I think are still getting over the festive season but I was wrong as we had a brilliant night through out the whole evening.

I arrived at the Garland about 7pm and with me on this occasion was Andy from St. Austell. It took us about 45 minutes to set up our show for the evening as Andy carried the equipment in for me and then helped me set up the show. The pub was quite busy and it was slowly filling up nicely as we were setting up which was great as I felt it was going to be another great night of Karaoke. We started off the show around about 8.30 and I noticed as we were in Bodmin that most of my crowd from The Cat and Fiddle, which is only up the road from The Garland Ox were coming into this venue for the evening. Well the Karaoke got off to a great start and I must say that most of the night we were hit with Karaoke requests and once again as you can see from the pictures they all had a great time through out the evening, even the bar staff and management we getting involved and singing the odd song or two. We finished around 11.30pm and started to pack everything away to get ready to load into the van. Andy helped to pack away and carried the equipment for me to the van whilst I loaded up. We eventually got back home about 1pm and again myself and my staff are really looking forward to another night at The Garland Ox in bodmin which will be on the 19th March after we get back from The Philippines.
