Fund Raiser At The Garland Ox In Bodmin 02/10/2009

This one was another first for R.J.Rhythm as we have never worked at Garland Ox in Bodmin before, but we have worked for the licensees as they use to have Nicals in Bodmin where we used to work many years ago. I was really looking forward to this one as it was Nicky and Alan are very old friend of mine. The evening was booked as a Karaoke Evening along with collecting money for The Cornwall Hospice Trust.

We set off from our offices at 6.30pm there was Scott, John and another John with me on this evening. We arrived at the venue about 7pm and unloading was a dream as now we have our driver and roadie John back with us and it only took John and Scott about 30 minutes to set as we decided to put one of our smallest Karaoke shows in for this evening as we did not have very much room inside the pub where they wanted us to set up.

We were set up for about 8pm and started straight away. The pub was beginning to fill up from the time we arrived and about 8.30pm we were hit with the Karaoke requests and when I say hit I meant hit, as we did not have time for a break really as we were doing karaoke one after another for a solid 3 hours. Half way through the Karaoke I decided to let my driver John take over for a while as he has been training up for some time now and it was time to let him loose on his own. John done a brilliant job for about an hour and I can now honestly say that R.J. Rhythm has made yet another DJ/KJ as everyone had a great evening and this one will no doubt be talked about for quite some time.

We finished around 11.30pm and the boys packed away within 30 minuets. We were all quite tired as from beginning to end it was all go on this night and as per usual everyone had a great night. R.J. Rhythm will be back there on Halloween Saturday 31st October but this time with John and Scott on their own where they will be doing it all over again as I am at The Tamar in Crown Hill, Plymouth and to be honest my staff are really looking forward to another night at The Garland Ox in Bodmin
