The Cat And Fiddle Karaoke Night in Bodmin 05/02/2010

This was another Friday Night Karaoke Evening for R.J.Rhythm Entertainments and as I have said before I was not expecting it to be very busy as people were still getting over the festive season.

We have now got all our own lighting and sound system in the Cat and Fiddle along with various TV monitors scattered around the venue as R.J.Rhythm have now got an interest in the Cat and Fiddle in Bodmin so there is no longer a need to set up one of our shows.

Well I got to the Pub at 7.45pm and all I have to set up now is my laptop which is great as it has made my life a lot easy er working at this venue. After I had set my laptop up I made my way to my room as I wanted to relax before I had to work. I was on my own on this evening as I did not need any staff so it made a bit of a change for me to be working on my own. At abut 8.30pm I made my way downstairs and the pub was really quiet to start with but around about 9pm it was beginning to fill up a little. We had quite a smallish crowd throughout the evening which I expected as I think people are still trying to get over the festive season. Well the Karaoke got off to a great start as I do have quite a few regulars who attend this venue when I am playing, and once again as you can see from the pictures they all had a great time throughout the evening even though it was a little quiet.

We finished around 11.00pm and as the equipment is now already set up in the pub permanently all I had to do was pack up my laptop which is now a great help as obviously it means I can get back home much quicker. We are also going to be doing the odd mid week Karaoke at this venue on a Wednesday night as I have said in previous Journals Again myself and the staff at The Cat and Fiddle are really looking forward to another great night.

Looking forward to tomorrow night as we are working at The Russell Inn in Polruan which is a Disco for a 40th Birthday Party with a bit of an 80's theme.
