Kerry's 40th Karaoke Party at St.Budeaux Plymouth 06/06/2009

I have worked the Plymouth area now for over 8 years and again like 3 days ago never worked in The St. Budeaux area before even though I have passed through it hundreds of times

We set off from our offices at 5.30pm there was Freddie and Scott with me on this evening. We arrived at the venue about 6.30pm and unloading was a a little bit of a struggle as there is no car park at the Community Center and we had to park right outside in the Bus Stop. It was a Karaoke Evening on this occasion and quite a large room so again we set up one of our medium to large shows for Kerry. Scott and Freddie unloaded the equipment and set up for me, it took us about an hour and a half to set up as we were new to this venue so we took our time to make sure we got everything right .

We were set up for about 7.30 and we started straight away as the guests were already arriving. Within 10 minutes we had our first singer who of course was the Birthday Girl herself Kerry and she was great There were lots of people requesting songs for the Karaoke and Lots of people dancing and singing along to the songs. we must have had over 60 guests on this evening and they all were totally enjoying themselves and they were a brilliant crowd. At about 9.00pm Kerry and her uncle played a set of live music along with outers which lasted about an hour. The set was great Kerry done a couple of songs along with her guitar and her uncle did the rest with help from I guess it was other family members. We finished around 12.15am and packed away within the hour. We had a long journey home and we were all quite tired as from beginning to end it was all go on this night and as per usual everyone had a great night with the R.J.Rhythm Entertainments Crew.
