60th Birthday Celebration at Bridgerule Village Hall Nr Bude 12/06/2010
R.J.Rhythm as you may know covers quite a large area of Devon and Cornwall and this event was near Bude in a little village called Bridgerule. The function on this evening was for a 60th Birthday Celebration and was booked as a Karaoke and Disco. The booking came from people who I knew as they used to come and see me at one of my regular events at Wadebridge, and I knew from when the booking was made it was going to be a great evening as the family are really excellent singers. The pictures on this page are pictures of the show we set up for this event as you have a choice on my booking forms which allows you to choose if we can take photos or video for our web page and on this occasion they did not want us to do this so obviously R.J.Rhythm as always respects it's customers wishes.
We started the disco at 7.30pm and started off with playing some background music as we were requested to do before the buffet was opened at 8.30. As tonight's event was a 60th birthday along with the Wedding Anniversary of the birthday girl, so this made it a double celebration and there were about 70 guest so we played music from the 1950's and 1960's which went down a storm and everyone was having a great evening with various people dancing and singing in their seats all night long. We also ran the Karaoke in between playing our music. The Karaoke was also a great success as I said before this family used to come to one of my regular venues and the whole family was excellent at singing. Throughout the whole night we had various people dancing and singing from beginning to end which made this night another night to remember for both us and all the guests. We finished at 11.30 and Rob and myself packed away the show and left it just on the edge of the stage then Rob and the guys who helped us carry the equipment in at the beginning carried the equipment to the van and helped me to load up. which was a great help. It took us about an hour to pack away and get loaded up then we made our way back home after and long and successful evening arriving home about 1.30am.
