SUL Language Schools Overseas Students Disco 09/07/2009

We picked up this function last year and R.J.Rhythm Entertainments were asked to entertain this year as we had made such a good impression the previous year. The disco's are set up by the SUL Language Schools in Cornwall every summertime. Basically what they do is have groups of overseas students here in cornwall for about 27 days and these groups are French and Spanish Students that come over to stay with family's in and around the St. Austell area.

The disco's are held at The Boscoppa Scout Hut and with me on this booking was Freddie, and Scott. We arrived at the venue about 6pm, Freddie and Scott carried in the equipment and helped me to set up. We were booked from 7.30 till 9.30pm and it took us about an hour to set up as we like the put in one of our medium to large shows for the overseas students.

we started the Disco Party off right on time at 7.30pm and from record 1 we had people dancing. The students were coming up and asking for certain requests, which obviously we had apart from the foreign requests that were asked for and we had most of the students dancing throughout the evening and everybody had a great time as always when we do this sort of Disco for the overseas students. We did not take any pictures and video of this event to go on to the internet for child protection issues.

Well we eventually finished at 9.30pm as planned and we could not go over as the families the students were staying with started to arrive and collect them. It took us about 45 minutes to pack away and get everything into the van. We eventually got home at 10.30pm and can't wait to do it all over again next week.
