The Borough Arms in Bodmin 50th Birthday Karaoke Party 07/11/2009

This was the 2nd time for R.J.Rhythm to work at The Borough Arms in Bodmin as the first times was over 2 years ago for the owners moving into the pub and since then every time they rang me to do more bookings I was already booked, but this event was booked well in advance.. It was a Saturday night Karaoke Evening for my second one at this venue celebrating Debbie's 50th Birthday and I was quite looking forward to being back there after such a long break.

We set off from our offices at 6.00pm as I had to pick up Andy our new man from Bodmin for this evening. We arrived at the venue about 7pm and unloading was a dream as Andy learns quite quickly and the equipment was unloaded and put ready to set up in about 15 minuets. Because of the size of this venue where we set up we put in one of our smallest Karaoke shows for this evening.

We were set up for about 8pm and started off with background music as people were still having meals in the venue.The venue was beginning to fill up from about 8.30pm and as you can see from the pictures they all had a great time throughout the evening. From about 9.30pm we were hit with the Karaoke requests coming in about every 15 minuets which was great as this all0owed us to play party type music in between Karaoke tracks. We played music from the 60's through to the late 80's as we were celebrating a 50th Birthday. Everyone one including myself, the punters and my staff had a great evening and it was all go from about 9pm till midnight when we finished. As I said above we finished around midnight and Andy packed away within 45 minuets. From beginning to end it was all go on this night and as per usual everyone had a great night. I hope that any future events at this venue are booked in advance as I have to admit this is one of them venues where everybody joins in and has a great time.
